College day routine *pilates edition
Good morning!! ☀️
Today, I woke up and went to a 6am Pilates class! It was so awesome, but tiring lol. I felt great after and I’m glad I went. It was a little challenging waking up this morning but I’m glad I pushed through. The class was so great we did a lot of movements I wasn’t familiar with, but now I know 😊
I am super sore already like I was struggling walking up the stairs to my class 😂😂
I love how Pilates makes me feel after a session.
Anyways, after Pilates I went home and ate some eggs and steak! The best!!!!
Then I went to my coaching class for sports management. My teacher is the goat 🐐
That class is so interesting and I feel like we learn life lessons rather than just text book stuff. Now, I’m on my way to work! I work 11-6.
Have a great day! ☀️

Waking up early for a 6AM Pilates class can be a game-changer for college students aiming to maintain an active lifestyle amidst their busy schedules. Pilates is well-known for improving core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness, which can help students manage the physical and mental stresses of academic life. Even though it might feel challenging initially, pushing through the tiredness to attend Pilates can lead to remarkable benefits, such as increased energy levels throughout the day and a stronger, more resilient body. Many students find that Pilates workouts introduce them to a variety of movements that engage muscles often neglected in conventional exercise routines, leading to the soreness that signals increased muscle activation—something that often surprises newcomers. Post-workout nutrition plays a vital role in recovery and sustaining energy. A balanced meal like eggs and steak provides protein and essential nutrients that support muscle repair and prolong the feeling of satiety, helping students stay focused during classes. The inclusion of coaching classes focused on sports management offers a valuable dimension beyond textbook learning. Students appreciate educational settings where practical, real-life lessons are integrated into the curriculum, making the learning process more engaging and directly applicable to future careers. This combination of physical wellness through Pilates and intellectual growth through interactive classes contributes to a fulfilling college experience. Maintaining such a routine that balances early morning exercise, nutritious meals, intellectually stimulating classes, and part-time work commitments requires discipline and good time management—a skill that benefits students well beyond college. Integrating Pilates into your daily life not only improves physical health but also enhances mental clarity and emotional resilience, essential traits for thriving in demanding environments. For those interested in adopting a similar routine, starting with beginner-friendly Pilates classes and gradually increasing intensity can make the process smoother. Consistency is key, and pairing workouts with wholesome meals will maximize benefits. Ultimately, combining physical activity, balanced nutrition, meaningful education, and work commitments creates a holistic approach that supports college students’ overall wellness and success.
