College workout series: come on a walk with me!

I love to start my mornings off with a nice workout! Today, I decided to go for a 2 mile walk before starting my day.

The heat has finally died down and I’m taking full advantage of that! It was like 67 degrees this morning with a breeze but the sunshine felt awesome! ☀️

My sports bra is from Aerie, my shorts are Amazon, my long sleeve top is Lulu lemon, and my shoes are hokas!

I honestly don’t even know what work zone means on my Fitbit 😂😂😂

Quick 2 miles down and I feel great, happy, and ready to start an awesome day!

Walking two miles in moderate weather, like a cool 67 degrees with a gentle breeze, offers the ideal environment to enjoy the outdoors without overheating. Incorporating quality workout gear can further enhance comfort and motivation during your walks. Choosing sportswear that breathes well and offers support—such as a sports bra from Aerie or breathable shorts from Amazon—can make a significant difference in your experience. Additionally, investing in reliable footwear like Hokas, known for their cushioning and support, helps prevent injuries and keeps your feet comfortable on varied terrains. Many fitness enthusiasts track their progress using devices like Fitbit. Although some features might initially seem confusing—like the “work zone” metric—taking time to learn about these indicators can provide valuable insights into exercise intensity and overall cardiovascular health. Embracing morning exercise, such as walking, not only energizes your body but also uplifts your mood, prepping you for a productive day. Incorporating this habit into your college routine supports athletic lifestyle goals and promotes long-term fitness. Remember, even quick 2-mile walks can yield great benefits, and consistent practice is key to building stamina and well-being. So, put on your favorite fitness gear, step outside, and enjoy the sunshine as part of your college workout series. You’ll feel happier, healthier, and ready to tackle whatever the day brings!
