Body builder to twin mom 🌈🌈🌈

Going from bodybuilding to being a mother of twins has been a huge journey on my body, having my first miscarriage in 2015, started bodybuilding in 2021, had an ectopic pregnancy at the end of 2022, a miscarriage at the beginning of 2023, got pregnant with my twins towards the end of 2023, and gave birth to them April 2024. My body has been through so much and right now. I am not happy with how it looks, but I’m learning to love it because it gave me my rainbow babies the biggest blessings in my life.🤍🌈🌈🌈#twinbirth #mombodytransformation #embracevulnerability #unfiltered #healthylifestyle2024

I remember looking in the mirror, "mourning this body" I had sculpted over years, a body that felt like a testament to my discipline and strength. But then came the incredible journey of creating life, seeing my belly grow through "32 WEEKS" of pregnancy, and finally, holding my two precious "triple rainbow babies" in my arms. This shift made me redefine what a 'hot mom bod' truly means. It’s not just about aesthetics or bouncing back instantly; it’s about resilience, functional strength, and confidence in a body that has achieved something miraculous. For me, feeling 'hot' now comes from knowing my body is strong enough to carry two babies, push a double stroller, and keep up with their boundless energy. It's about how I feel in my new skin, not just how it looks compared to my bodybuilding days. Rebuilding strength postpartum, especially after carrying twins, requires a different mindset. I've focused on foundational strength rather than heavy lifting. Pelvic floor exercises, gentle core work, and glute activation have become my new priorities. Strengthening the glutes isn't just for aesthetics; it's crucial for supporting the lower back, which takes a lot of strain from carrying and nursing babies. Think of simple bodyweight squats, glute bridges, and side-lying leg lifts – these movements help restore stability and power. Incorporating short walks, even just around the block with the twins in the stroller, helps build endurance and provides a much-needed mental break. Nutrition has also shifted dramatically. While bodybuilding required precise macros, motherhood demands sustained energy. I prioritize nutrient-dense foods that fuel my body for sleepless nights and busy days. Lean proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of fruits and vegetables are my go-to. Hydration is key, especially when breastfeeding or simply trying to stay energized. More than physical changes, this journey has taught me immense gratitude. There were moments when I was pregnant, filled with worry, yet so "thankful for this one" (referring to the pregnancy itself) after the heartbreaks of miscarriages. Now, seeing my babies thriving, I truly understand that my body gave me them. It's a powerhouse, capable of more than I ever imagined. Embracing this new phase means practicing self-compassion, celebrating small victories, and finding joy in the strength and beauty of my 'mom bod.' It’s about loving the body that brought me my greatest blessings, scars and all. Every stretch mark tells a story of love, and every ounce of new strength reminds me of my incredible journey.

My twins are 3 months and I’m 22. Before I was okay with my body but now I’m super insecure 🫠 yes my hips got wide and my boobs grew and that’s great and all but the stitch and loose fat, I could cry everyday 😭
