From my personal experience, careful planning of macros and meal timing is key to maximize muscle growth while minimizing fat gain. During the first week, I focused on a caloric intake of around 3,400 to 3,500 calories daily, consisting of approximately 290g protein, 420g carbs, and 50g fats. This macro split supports muscle hypertrophy with ample energy provided by carbohydrates. Meals were evenly spread throughout the day, starting with a high-protein and carb-rich breakfast like eggs, oats, and whey to fuel my morning workouts. Incorporating supplements such as fish oil for healthy fats, glutamine for recovery, and digestive enzymes helped me maintain gut health and aid nutrient absorption. I also included research compounds like Cardarine and SR-9011 as part of a fasted cardio stack to assist fat metabolism, though these should be approached cautiously and researched thoroughly. Meal variety kept the diet enjoyable—with lean proteins like chicken and salmon, complex carbs such as rice and oats, and vegetables to provide fiber and micronutrients. Pre- and post-workout nutrition was crucial; for example, consuming high-protein, high-carb meals around training sessions helped replenish glycogen stores and promote muscle repair. Daily activity included 35-60 minutes of fasted cardio and achieving about 10k steps to enhance cardiovascular health and support fat loss alongside the bulk. I found tracking not only calories but also meal composition and timing improved adherence to my goals. Overall, my experience in week 1 highlighted the importance of consistency, balanced nutrition, and listening to the body as I adjust to the bulk. I'll continue to share updates and strategies as I progress, aiming to optimize muscle gain safely and effectively.
