The lazy girl’s guide to productivity ⚡

Hey Lemon8 fam! 🍋

Feeling overwhelmed with your to-do list? Trust me, I've been there! Some days it feels like you're just running on a hamster wheel and not actually getting anything done. But I've recently found a few game-changing habits that have seriously boosted my productivity and I had to share them with you!

Here are 5 things I do that genuinely help me stay on track and get more done:

1. Timebox Your Day ⏰

Instead of a never-ending to-do list, I block out specific times in my calendar for each task. For example, 9-10 AM is for answering emails, 10-12 PM is for focused work on a project. It's a lifesaver for staying focused!

2. The 50/10 Rule 🧘‍♀️

I work in focused 50-minute blocks, then take a 10-minute break to stretch, grab some water, or just step away from my screen. It helps me reset and come back to my work with fresh eyes. No more burnout!

3. Digital Detox Zone 📵

When I'm in a focused work block, my phone is on silent and out of sight. I also turn off all non-essential notifications on my computer. It's amazing how much you can get done when you're not constantly being distracted.

4. Set a "Top 3" for the Day 📝

Before I start my day, I identify my top 3 most important tasks. These are the things that will make the biggest impact. This way, even if I don't get to everything, I know I've accomplished what truly matters.

5. "Eat the Frog" First 🐸

I tackle my most challenging or dreaded task first thing in the morning. It's not always fun, but getting it out of the way gives me a huge sense of accomplishment and momentum for the rest of the day.

These small changes have made a huge difference in my productivity and overall well-being. I feel more in control of my days and less stressed.
