Weekly Grocery haul
We STILL have chicken leftover!
I’ve been trying new recipes out and being purposeful about what I eat. I realized that the more I make food at home, the more I go to the grocery store because I forgot something. Usually, I would just say forget it, let’s get takeout, but that’s not prioritizing me and my health :)
I had to go back to the store to get hashbrowns for my breakfast and sausage because I COULD NOT do those turkey crumbles 🤢

When planning your grocery shopping, it's important to consider both nutritional value and ease of preparation. Starting with a list can help you avoid impulse buys and ensure you have everything you need for the week. For proteins, choosing options like ground turkey or chicken can provide lean sources of protein that are versatile for various dishes. Consider adding plenty of vegetables to your cart; fresh, frozen, or even canned options can make meal prep easier. For instance, keep some pre-packaged or frozen veggies on hand for stir-fries or quick salads. Don't forget about snacks and breakfast items—having healthy options like yogurt, fruits, or nuts can prevent unhealthy cravings throughout the day. Additionally, utilizing resources like online recipes or meal prep ideas can inspire you to explore new foods and cooking techniques. This not only makes cooking more enjoyable, but it also aligns with healthier eating habits. Engaging with your community, whether online or offline, can offer support and fresh ideas as well. Whether you're following a strict diet or simply trying to eat healthier, a thoughtful grocery haul can set you on the right path toward achieving your goals.
