Tips To Keep Your Hair Healthy
1.) Stop going to bed with wet hair!! Your hair is most vulnerable when wet, going to sleep with wet hair can cause breakage and leaves moisture on your scalp which can cause a buildup of bacteria which could cause a bunch of other things like dandruff etc etc
2.) Try to minimize heat styling but remember Not all heat is bad heat, example, blow drying. Now with any and all heat make sure you’re still using a heat protectant but blow drying your hair as opposed to letting it sit on your scalp can help prevent the problems from number 1!
3.) Make sure you’re using the right products for your hair type! And learning to use them properly, products aren’t a one size fits all, as there’s tons of different types of hair textures, colors, densities, porosities etc etc. Figuring out the type of hair you have and building a routine based around your specific type can lead to happy hair all around ! Also using the correct products can make your styles last longer so you don’t have to restyle as often!
4.) Stop shampooing daily, for most people shampooing daily is not necessary, shampooing daily strips away your hairs natural oils leaving your hair open and available to dryness and damage!
5.) Massage your scalp! Scalp massages increases blood circulation which can stimulate hair growth
6.) Get regular trims! Regularly getting trims cuts off the dead ends so they don’t continue to split up your hair more causing more breakage!
7.) Eat a balanced diet, your hair needs nutrients just like the rest of your body, eating a balanced diet ensures your body and hair is getting the correct nutrients!
