... Read moreExperiencing COVID-19 can be challenging, but finding ways to stay engaged and entertained is essential for mental well-being. In the midst of recovery, I discovered the joy of playing video games on my iPad, particularly DS games that provide an excellent distraction. Engaging in video games can be a great way to stimulate the mind while fostering a sense of achievement. I also took the opportunity to dive into a captivating book, 'This Ends With Us' by Colleen Hoover, which not only entertained me but also offered new perspectives on essential themes. Reading can be a comforting activity during recovery, allowing for escapism and emotional connection. Moreover, I opted to take a break from social media, focusing instead on more nourishing and fulfilling activities. This decision allowed me to reflect and reset my digital habits, leading to a sense of relief during a time when mental clarity is crucial. Listening to music, especially exploring new genres and artists, was another highlight. Music has therapeutic qualities that can uplift the spirit and provide comfort during difficult times. I engaged with various playlists, appreciating the creativity and passion behind the music. Amidst the challenges of illness, embracing these activities not only kept me entertained but also contributed to a more positive mindset. If you're currently experiencing COVID, consider finding your own unique ways to stay engaged and recover. Remember, self-care is a crucial part of the healing process.
