Okay so this is my first time actually doing any type of video like this or even posting on here. 😬 But I’m Trinytee and I’m a full time BSN nursing student. I just wanted to share a glimpse of my life.

It's not always glamorous, but it's crucial for staying on top of the demanding coursework. For me, a successful study session starts long before I even open a textbook. It’s about setting the stage for deep focus and effective learning. This 'NURSING EDITION' is all about maximizing your study time, especially when you're balancing classes, clinicals, and a personal life. First things first, my morning routine before a big study block is key. I try to wake up at a consistent time, even on weekends, to regulate my body clock. Hydration is non-negotiable – a big glass of water right away! Then, a light, nutritious breakfast to fuel my brain without feeling sluggish. I also like to do a quick tidy-up around my study space. A cluttered environment often leads to a cluttered mind, and for complex subjects like pharmacology or pathophysiology, I need all the mental clarity I can get. Once I'm physically ready, it's time to get into the right mindset. This is where the 'Grwm to Study' truly begins. I put on comfortable clothes, make sure I have good lighting, and, most importantly, I put my phone on 'do not disturb' and out of sight. Distractions are the enemy of effective studying, especially in nursing school where every detail matters. I usually start by reviewing my schedule for the day and prioritizing what topics need the most attention. Is it an upcoming exam on cardiac care? Or perhaps reviewing skills for my next clinical rotation? Prioritization for a nursing student is critical because there's always so much to learn. During the actual study session, I don't just passively read. Active learning is my secret weapon. For instance, when studying complex disease processes, I'll draw out flowcharts, explain concepts aloud as if I’m teaching a patient, or make flashcards for key terms. Practice questions are also a huge part of my routine – NCLEX-style questions help me apply what I've learned and identify areas where I need more review. This active engagement helps solidify the information, which is essential for nursing and college success. I also make sure to incorporate short, focused breaks. These aren't an excuse to scroll social media; they're opportunities to stretch, grab a healthy snack, or just give my eyes a rest from the screen or textbook. Usually, a 5-10 minute break every hour or so, using the Pomodoro technique, helps me stay refreshed and prevents burnout. After a study block, I do a quick recap of what I've covered and plan what I'll tackle in my next session. This structured approach, a genuine 'Grwm to Study' for the NURSING EDITION, has made a huge difference in my college lifestyle and overall academic performance. It's all about finding what works for you to make those study hours count!
