I think I’m going to cut it ??!
I have been messing around using AI to see what different hair would look 👀 like on me. I think this is a manageable length.
When I lave it longer and put it up or have extensions it causes issues with nerve pain in my head and face. Severe ON and TN nerve pain. Sometimes going into full on migraine.
What do you think of the cut? My hair is usually thicker when it’s shorter.

Wow, it's such a relief to hear I'm not alone in considering such a big change! That moment when you're staring at AI-generated images, wondering if that 'short, dark bob haircut' could really be your next look, is so exciting and a little nerve-wracking. For me, the decision isn't just about style; it's about finding relief from constant nerve pain and migraines that my long hair often triggers. It's truly amazing how a haircut can impact so much more than just aesthetics. If you're like me, contemplating a 'shorter hair cut' or a 'trendy thick hair short haircut,' you've probably scrolled through countless options. I've been diving deep into 'short hair edition Hairstyle Ideas' myself! What I've learned is that short hair isn't just about convenience; it can actually make your hair feel much thicker and healthier, which is a huge plus for those of us with density concerns. It's also incredibly versatile, defying the myth that long hair is the only way to express yourself. Choosing the right short cut often comes down to understanding your face shape. For example, if you have a 'chubby face,' a 'pixie haircut' with some volume on top and soft layers around the sides can beautifully elongate your features. It draws the eye upwards, creating a more balanced and flattering silhouette. Don't be afraid to go bold; a well-executed pixie can be incredibly chic! What about a 'diamond haircut for women'? This face shape often looks stunning with bobs that hit around the chin or collarbone, especially those with soft bangs or layers that add width at the jawline and forehead, balancing the wider cheekbones. Think of a classic 'short, dark bob haircut' with some 'subtle highlights' for added dimension. For those with an 'oval haircut' shape, you're in luck – almost any short style works perfectly! From sharp bobs to playful pixies, an oval face can pull off a wide range of looks, so feel free to experiment. Regardless of your face shape, don't forget to discuss your hair texture with your stylist. Thick hair, like mine, often shines in shorter styles because it can hold shape beautifully without feeling weighed down. Layering is key for managing volume and creating movement in thicker short cuts. It can also help prevent that 'helmet' look some people worry about with short, thick hair. Making the 'big chop' can be transformative, not just for your appearance but for your overall well-being. It's more than just a haircut; it's a statement, a step towards comfort, and a fresh start.
