Do you think reviewers of all ages are needed. ???

#letschat I think socials should show reviews from people of all ages … do YOU agree?

For a while I’ve noticed many places choose young and super blessed body types for showing products.

Issue is a girl born with thick hair, or a naturally thin woman, or a 20 year old may not know the struggles of a thin haired person or heavier female or mid age woman.

I think reviews by all are so important for brands.

Don’t agree ?

Do you look to see people like you in advertising?

In reviewing?

... Read moreIn today's diverse marketplace, it's essential for brands to represent all ages and body types in their product reviews. Consumers increasingly seek authenticity and relatability in advertising; they want to see individuals who reflect their own experiences and struggles. This need underscores the significance of age diversity in reviews, as it allows for a broader understanding of how products perform across various demographics. For instance, a product that works effectively for a young adult may not yield the same results for someone in their middle age due to differences in hair type, skin sensitivity, or lifestyle. Moreover, reviews from older consumers can introduce valuable insights about product longevity, effectiveness, and usability over time. They can share their unique challenges and success stories, contributing to a fuller representation of the product's impact. Brands that embrace this diverse feedback not only improve their marketing strategies but also build a more inclusive community. Today, brands are setting out to redefine beauty norms and challenge age-related stereotypes in advertising. This shift towards inclusivity can foster connections with a wider audience, as consumers become more engaged with brands that reflect their values. Ultimately, incorporating diverse reviews enriches the consumer experience, enabling informed purchasing decisions that benefit everyone.

I think it matters for the target audience for the specific product and the brand! Not everything is made for everyone and that is totally okay! But reviews can help narrow the decision for sure
