acne safe makeup 🤍

as a girly who is prone to acne, i love when i can find products that i can use that won’t make me break out or will limit my break outs, these are just a few that i have found to be acne safe.

psa, i am not a dermatologist or a professional in any sorts, everyone’s skin is different and what works for you might not work for someone else and vice versa 🩷

This means selecting foundation, mascara, and blush labeled as acne-safe or oil-free. Many brands now offer specialized lines for sensitive skin that include mineral foundations or tinted moisturizers, which allow for buildable coverage without irritation. Additionally, check for ingredients like salicylic acid, which can help with acne treatment while providing coverage. Be cautious of products that contain heavy fragrances or alcohol, as they can trigger allergic reactions or further irritate the skin. Reading reviews and looking for recommendations from trusted sources can guide you towards effective options. Consider starting with sample sizes to test product compatibility with your unique skin type. Furthermore, incorporating a proper skincare routine before and after makeup application can help maintain skin health. Cleansing, toning, and moisturizing create a good foundation for makeup application and can minimize the risk of flare-ups. Always remove makeup before bed to prevent clogged pores, which can lead to increased breakouts over time. By making informed choices about what products you use, you can enjoy makeup while keeping your skin happy.

As someone whose skin is dry I wouldn’t recommend fenty beauty’s foundation AT ALL it’s not meant for us. If you want a foundation that’s good for dry skin try Dior it’s really good (from experience)
