How I became a Twitch/Youtube Partner in 2 years 🥰
My streaming journey started back in June of 2022. With no computer gaming knowledge, no streaming knowledge and DSL internet. 🛜 The journey was not easy and the challenges along the way are intense. However, the friends I made it along the way made it worth while!
The first thing I did when I started streaming was learn about streaming. I spent thousands of hours on YouTube. Watching videos on how to set up streams, overlays, working on what suits me. 🤪 it was intense. However, I quickly got figured out how to stream (half decent). DSL internet is against me always.
Networking is such an amazing way to grow and a lot of small content creators miss out on the opportunity. Do you get to know other streamers? Reach out for collabs? Raid into other streamers at the end of streams? These help you grow so much! These ways will help you grow. Even today I scroll twitch and hang out with random streamers.
Make content you enjoy and are proud of. I am a comfy cozy horror streamer. Sounds weird right? However, I am proud of my space and my community. I do not use any lewdity/vulgarity nor do I tolerate it. I never use profanity in my streams either. I want my space to be a safe space for all. A place to relax and wind down. A place where anyone always feels welcome. No matter who you are.
Streaming has taught me many things. And the importance of believing in myself and loving myself is part of that. I just recently got into reveling myself more. <3
Stay you, stay positive and keep pushing forward!
