There are also services where artists can create a custom avatar for you, which can be a great investment once you're serious. Once you have your avatar, you'll need software to bring it to life. For 3D models, VSeeFace is a popular choice for tracking your movements and expressions using just a webcam. For 2D models, VTube Studio is a fan favorite, offering incredible customization and tracking capabilities. These programs essentially translate your real-life movements into your avatar's actions, making it feel like you're truly inhabiting your character. Next, let's talk about getting your stream live. OBS Studio or Streamlabs OBS are the industry standards for a reason. They integrate seamlessly with your VTubing software. You'll add your avatar as a game capture or window capture source, then layer on your webcam (if you're using it for face tracking, but not showing your face!), your microphone, and any other elements like chat boxes or alerts.
