advice needed for weight loss and muscle gain 🤍

i am pretty consistent in the gym, i workout about 4–5 times each week and follow a split i have created for myself. i have also started walking about 10,000 steps each day for the past two weeks. it is my goal to lose weight, and gain muscle, however, it has been overwhelming for me to figure out how much to eat, what to eat, and when. in my brain it it better to eat less in order to lose weight faster but i know that it is not healthy for my body and not effective when trying to build muscle. additionally, i know that i need to be in a calorie deficit while also eating enough protein. i want to see results with all the hard work that i am putting into the gym and i know that i won’t if i am not eating enough of the right things. but i really do not know where to start

It’s vital to strike the right balance between caloric intake and expenditure. A common misconception is that eating less leads to faster weight loss. However, this can hinder muscle development and overall health. Instead, focus on a well-rounded diet that prioritizes protein intake, which is crucial for muscle repair and growth. Aim for lean meats, eggs, legumes, and dairy to meet these needs. Incorporate a variety of fruits and vegetables to ensure you are getting essential vitamins and minerals that support your body during workouts. A structured meal plan can help manage your calorie deficit effectively while preventing feelings of deprivation. Consider working with a nutritionist for personalized advice tailored to your specific goals and lifestyle. They can help you develop a comprehensive plan, ensuring you consume enough nutrients to support both weight loss and muscle gain. Remember, hydration is also key. Drinking enough water supports your metabolic processes and can help in recovery post-exercise. As you maintain your gym routine of 4–5 times a week and keep walking those 10,000 steps, focus on making gradual adjustments to your diet. This holistic approach will lead to sustainable results, keeping your motivation high and your body healthy.
