新世界って「串カツと通天閣」のイメージが強いけど、実際に歩くと“ディープスポット”の宝庫でした。私が特に歩きやすいと感じたのは平日夜。人が多すぎない分、看板や店先の雰囲気をじっくり見られて、初めてでも入りやすかったです。 まず、串カツの店並びはそれだけで観光になるレベル。お店が密集しているので「どこが正解？」って迷うけど、私は“並びの勢い”を見て、入り口が明るくてメニューが分かりやすい店を選ぶと失敗しにくいと感じました。あと、新世界はサクッと立ち寄るつもりでも寄り道が増えがちなので、最初から「1軒だけ串カツ」「あとは遊びに振る」みたいに配分を決めるのもおすすめです。 ディープ枠で印象に残ったのが、ジャンボ釣船釣り吉。鯵も鯛も釣り放題…と聞くと夢があるんですが、私は釣れずに終わりました（釣れなかったら無料なのは救い）。ここは“釣れたら必ず調理して食べる”ルールがあるので、時間に余裕がある日に行くのが安心。手が汚れやすいので、ウェットティッシュがあると地味に助かります。 歩いていると、気がついたら吸い込まれるように入ってしまったのがレトロなゲーム屋さん（かすが娯楽場）。100円からできるゲームがあって、観光の合間にちょっと遊ぶのにちょうどいい！写真映えもするし、友達と行くと盛り上がります。 夜の締めにおすすめしたいのが、Magic Cafe & Bar Shinsekai。初めてのマジックバーだったけど、目の前のコインマジックが本当に「普通にわからん」レベルで衝撃でした。料金は時間制なので、初回は短め（30分〜）で雰囲気を掴んで、楽しかったら延長する流れが安心。 最後に、新世界をより快適に回るコツ。歩きやすい靴は必須で、店の出入りが多い日は荷物は小さめが正解。通天閣周辺（〒556-0002 大阪府大阪市浪速区恵美須東３丁目２−２４あたり）を起点に、串カツ→遊び（釣りorゲーム）→夜はマジックバー、の順で回ると気分もテンポも良かったです。
