Not my proudest moment, but necessary 😅
Trust is a foundational element in any relationship, and discovering that your partner is still active on a dating app like Tinder can be devastating. In my case, after being together for 8 months, I decided to search his name and surprisingly found his profile was not only still active but had been updated just three days ago—long after he said he deleted all his dating apps in February. This experience taught me the importance of paying attention to your feelings and acting on any suspicions you might have. While it wasn't my proudest moment to confront this, it was necessary for my peace of mind and personal boundaries. If you suspect your partner might not be fully honest about their online activity, using a discreet search can reveal important truths. I also learned that carrying the weight of doubt silently isn’t healthy. Speaking openly or quietly confirming your worries can empower you to make decisions that protect your wellbeing. Cheaters often hide behind half-truths, and technology can sometimes unintentionally uncover these lies. Remember, no relationship is perfect, but transparency and respect are non-negotiable. If you’re dealing with a similar situation, prioritize your emotional health and consider your next steps carefully. Sometimes, facing uncomfortable truths is the first step toward healing and moving forward.

My boyfriend we have been dating for 7 months and I told him I was going to search him he actually put his number in for me and tapped search he said he had a few dating apps on there because he never deleted his profile just the app. I’ve told him well when we see which ones are still active you can go and delete them he smiles and said yes because he doesn’t remember all the apps he has had through the years. I trust him but am also I bit worried he kept his profiles on purpose in case we don’t work out.
