เมื่อได้มาเยือนคาเฟ่ย้อนยุคแห่งนี้ในโพธาราม ราชบุรี ผมประทับใจบรรยากาศที่ไม่ได้มีแค่กาแฟอร่อย แต่ยังเต็มไปด้วยเรื่องราวประวัติศาสตร์ที่น่าค้นหา ด้วยตู้เซฟเก่าขนาดใหญ่ที่ถูกปิดทึบด้วยปูนและล็อคมาแล้วกว่า 40 ปีโดยไม่มีใครรู้รหัส นี่เป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้คาเฟ่แห่งนี้มีความลึกลับชวนให้ติดตามว่าภายในตู้เซฟนี้จะซ่อนความลับอะไรบ้าง ร้านนี้เคยเป็นห้างทองที่ก่อตั้งโดยชาวจีนอพยพในสมัยสงครามโลก ซึ่งยังคงเก็บเอกสารและอุปกรณ์ทำทองเก่าแก่ไว้เป็นหลักฐาน ได้นั่งชมแกลลอรี่ภาพถ่ายเมืองเก่าโพธารามที่สะท้อนกลิ่นอายอดีตคนทำทองและวิถีชีวิตในยุคนั้น จุดเด่นอีกอย่างคือหลุมหลบภัยในร้านซึ่งสร้างขึ้นจริงในช่วงสงครามโลก ผมได้มีโอกาสลงไปสำรวจด้วยตัวเอง บอกเลยว่ามีบรรยากาศขนลุกเล็กน้อยแต่น่าตื่นเต้นมากที่ได้สัมผัสประวัติศาสตร์อย่างใกล้ชิด นอกจากเรื่องราวทางประวัติศาสตร์แล้ว เครื่องดื่มและอาหารที่นี่ราคาย่อมเยาว์และรสชาติดีมาก ทำให้ผมรู้สึกเหมือนได้ย้อนเวลาไปสัมผัสบรรยากาศร้านทองในอดีตที่ยังคงมีชีวิตผ่านคาเฟ่แห่งนี้ การบริการก็เป็นกันเองและใส่ใจเล่าประวัติร้านให้ฟังอย่างละเอียด ใครอยากเปลี่ยนอารมณ์จากคาเฟ่ทั่วไป แนะนำให้มาที่นี่เลย รับรองว่าคุณจะได้ทั้งกาแฟดีและความรู้ทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่น่าจดจำ
