Dear Future Husband,
As I sit down to write this letter, I want you to know that I understand the depth of what it means to truly love and be loved. I need you to know God first, to love Him deeply, and to love yourself before you love me. I believe that when you fully embrace these truths, our love will flourish in ways we cannot yet imagine.
I've never truly known love without questioning its existence. I don’t want to ask, “Do you love me?” I want to feel your love, your strength, and your unwavering commitment every single day. I envision us spending at least 30 minutes each day sitting down together, discussing our lives, our dreams, and the things that matter to us. Let’s create an environment where we can have open conversations instead of arguments. I want us to have boundaries, but also the freedom to be ourselves.
I want a partner who will say, “If my wife can’t be there, then I can’t either.” I want to share my life with you—traveling, watching TV, playing games, and discussing everything under the sun. You will be my outlet, and I will be yours. We should be able to cry together and laugh together, sharing both our joys and our sorrows.
I desire a good man, just as you desire a good woman. I am not perfect; I’m a beautifully designed woman with my own set of flaws. But I believe that in our imperfections, we will find strength together. We will work through our challenges; we won’t walk away from each other. We will communicate with love and understanding, looking into each other’s eyes and knowing we are meant to be.
A man should never leave you wondering if he loves you. I want to walk through life with you, confident in our love, knowing that when others see me, they see you, and when they see you, they see me. I want to proudly declare, “I am happily married,” and truly mean it.

When the time comes for my future husband to enter my life, or for the man I have to become the one You designed him to be, I trust Your plan. I want to live a long, healthy life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of being surrounded by my family—my husband, my children, and my grandchildren.
It’s time for me to rest and cherish the love we will share. I’ve carried so much for so long; I’m ready to share that burden and find peace.
