Tell Me How You Study, and I’ll Tell You What Kind of Learner You Actually Are 👀
I used to think I was just bad at studying.
No matter how many hours I spent highlighting, re-reading, or watching videos, I’d still forget everything. I’d feel frustrated seeing other students “get it” faster while I was drowning in confusion.
Everything changed the semester I accidentally started making cartoons to study anatomy. I wasn’t trying to be smart… I was just overwhelmed and doodling body parts as little characters with drama 💀💅. And suddenly… I remembered everything.
That was my first clue:
I’m a visual + story-based learner. The moment I paired info with something emotional or colorful or weird, it stuck.
Now, I use color-coding, cartoons, fake gossip, weird analogies, and anything that makes a topic feel like a story. Studying stopped feeling like a test, and started feeling like building inside jokes with myself.

Hey! When I study I always use quizlet and make myself flash cards, I also like to add pictures to the cards to help me remember. I don’t necessarily like listening to music when I study but I can do white noise. The only subject that I can’t figure out how to study for is biology. I do bad on all the tests and I’m just not the best of remembering science. Any tips?
