... Read moreIn today's competitive job market, job satisfaction often holds more weight than salary. The experience of working in various roles—from a Dental Lab Intern where I gained hands-on skills despite no pay, rated 8/10, to a Dental Assistant earning $950/month with a rating of 7/10—illustrates this clearly. While titles may sound impressive, such as being involved in AI public health with a pay of $1,200/month and rated 7.5/10, the reality often involves being overworked and underappreciated. Many individuals, like myself, have found that passion and fulfillment can outweigh monetary compensation. My current role as a startup founder, currently bootstrapped with no pay but rated 9.5/10, showcases the thrill of pursuing a mission-driven venture. Amidst the challenges—the high risks and pressure—there’s a sense of freedom and creativity that makes it all worthwhile.
