Bye Bye South Carolina 👋🌴

In 2023, we embarked on an exciting journey as my husband, who joined the Army, had to leave for basic training just two weeks after our son, Baylor, was born. Our wedding quickly followed as we planned it during my eighth month of pregnancy. On May 27, 2023, I married the love of my life, and our family has been blessed every step of the way. We felt a mix of excitement and nervousness throughout our transition, especially during the six long months I spent at home alone with our little one. Thankfully, we could occasionally drive the hours needed to see my husband during training. Finally, we are now assigned to our first duty station at Fort Carson, Colorado, where we have started to explore the breathtaking state parks and the beautiful landscapes of Colorado Springs. We feel incredibly grateful for this opportunity to build new memories and adventures in our new home for the next six years.
