if anyone is looking for an electrician with reasonable prices, we would highly recommend ours!! this was our main contractor’s contact, and we loved him from our first meeting! he is a super warm and friendly uncle who replies promptly, and his team did up our electrical works promptly with minimal hiccups!
how our process went with him:
- after our initial meeting at our house, he provided a quotation the next day
- we called him to clarify some small details before proceeding to confirm the quotation
- paid 50% deposit and his team started the electrical works the next working day!
- electrical works were completed within that week! there was one minor mistake for our kitchen island light positioning - but it was rectified quickly
- he also followed up actively to inform us when he will start lights/fans installation, and gave a clear list of switches we need to buy
also, before your first meeting with your electrician, do prepare in advance so you don’t have to make any big decisions on the spot!!! run through with your partner the following items:
1️⃣ visit your house and run through your possible daily routine together! where would you possibly eat, work, dry your hair, charge your phones etc around the house?
2️⃣ run through a list of appliances you will be getting and where you may be placing them
3️⃣ doing these will allow you to more effectively plan where you need your power points to be! keep in mind that different people have very different lifestyle habits - so don’t just blindly follow other people’s recommendations online!
for example, my personal habit is that i always charge my phone beside my bed, but T doesn’t like to do that (he always charges it opposite the bed or some place further away)
