Here’s what I learned that night: 1. Patience and Defense are Key: Don't get caught up in his aggressive pace. Broly thrives on you panicking. Block, block, block! Learn his attack patterns. Many of his super armor moves still allow him to take chip damage, and more importantly, they leave him slightly open if you can perfectly guard or sidestep at the right time. A perfect block can open him up for a quick counter combo. 2. Punish His Openings: Broly's powerful attacks often have significant recovery frames, especially if he misses or you block them. After he whiffs a heavy attack or a super, that's your window! Go in with a fast combo. Don't go for the longest combo; prioritize reliable damage and getting out before he can retaliate. 3. Use Fast, Agile Dragon Ball Super Characters: While Broly is lumbering, characters like Goku (Ultra Instinct), Vegeta (Super Saiyan Blue Evolved), or even Hit can be excellent counters. Their speed and quick attacks allow them to get in, deal damage, and get out before Broly can wind up his next big hit. Characters with good projectiles can also help control space and force Broly to approach more cautiously, breaking his "spam" rhythm.
