Diary Entry #1

🌙 Night 1: I had the thought that my life didn’t have meaning and Instead of bottling up my emotions I voiced it and it felt good. I would say amazing but I still had the underlying thought that my life had no meaning. I’m struggling in one of my classes due to the class being completely different then what I was expecting or what was outlined in the syllabus and then two of my other classes are really just hard on me memory wise. I’m a math person if that puts anything into perspective I love math I’ve always love math and I got stuck with US government and politics and world religions. One being something I’m super interested in world religions and then politics now I have to try 10x as hard just to study and remember everything for these classes.

As an arts major I feel like arts of Africa shouldn’t be us learning how to be museum curators. I’m learning about how to identity and label things that’s aren’t even registered in any sort of textbook or data base I’m making stuff up. And that’s honestly mind boggling I wish I could say i understand but this professor keeps saying to hold her hand and just follow. I can’t do that if I’m confused and scared and stressed. Then she was out for a week and gave us some random busy work in so confused and then we have oral presentations for our final we’re not even through with the project! How can we have presentations oh wait now everything’s on rush because it’s spring semester.

I’m trying to start using my planner again because each morning I wake up and just feel like I’ve already failed. I don’t even wanna get up out of bed I wanna sleep forever endless sleep no waking up. But I live on for my family and my boyfriend I love both of them and they keep me going.
