Yikes
Okay, so you saw that epic elimination, right? Getting those high-XP eliminations in Fortnite is seriously one of the most satisfying feelings, and I wanted to share some of my personal tips for how I try to make those moments happen more often. It's not just about aiming; it's about strategy and staying calm under pressure. First off, always keep an eye on your surroundings. I’ve learned the hard way that tunnel vision is a killer in Fortnite. Before I rush into a fight, I try to quickly scan for other players and potential escape routes. This helps a lot when you’re trying to secure an ELIMINATION and not get third-partied right after. For example, that ELIMINATED RiloyGW13 moment? I had just rotated from the storm, and I knew exactly where to expect an enemy. Map awareness is key – knowing popular drop spots, rotation paths, and even where other players might be hiding after a fight can give you a huge edge. Another huge factor is weapon choice. I always try to have a balanced loadout: a good assault rifle for mid-range, a shotgun for close quarters, and usually an SMG for quick finishes or when an enemy is pushing. Knowing when to switch weapons is key. I’ve seen so many players lose fights because they tried to finish someone with an AR when a shotgun blast would have done the trick. And let's not forget about those crucial + 750 XP bonuses you get for skilled plays – they add up quickly for leveling up your battle pass! Always grab those shield potions and medkits too; having full health and shields before a fight can be the difference between winning and losing. Building and editing are non-negotiable if you want to get better. I spend a little time in creative mode almost every day just practicing my edits and wall placements. It seems small, but being able to quickly put up a wall or edit a window to get a quick shot can turn the tide of a fight. There’s nothing more satisfying than outplaying an opponent with superior building, securing that ELIMINATION. Mastering high ground is also a game-changer; it gives you a clear line of sight and often makes it harder for enemies to hit you. Lastly, don't be afraid to disengage. Sometimes, a fight just isn't going your way, or you're outnumbered. It's better to retreat, heal up, and re-engage from a better position than to push a losing battle. My goal is always to get the win, not just rack up kills – though those epic eliminations are a huge bonus! I'm always looking for those "FURY A" style plays, where everything just clicks and you feel unstoppable. It’s all about confidence and knowing your limits. Keep practicing, stay strategic, and you'll be hitting those incredible plays too!
