Tutorial: frosty soft girl makeup
i saw other people make these and thought i’d give it a try :)
Foundation & Powder: both of these are optional but a good foundation is going to help even out your skin tone to give you more of a smooth “clean” look. powder is mainly for my oily or sweaty girls to make sure we are only shining where we want to!
Concealer: this really just depends on you, i use concealer to cover up my chronic dark circles and as a base for my eyeshadow to make it stick better. i would also recommend using it on any other blemishes you may have.
Eyeshadow: cover the whole lid in the lighter peachy color and then run the darker peach/brownish eyeshadow in your crease.
White pencil liner: run that white liner along your waterline and then over extend the outer edge past your actual lashes (this is going to help your eyes look bigger)
Eyeliner: practice makes perfect when it comes to liquid eyeliner! you are going to want to make the top your wing go straight out from the center of your eyelid. then make the bottom part go slightly lower than your actual lash line to give the illusion of bigger eyes. drawing on some bottom lashes is optional but a cute touch!
Mascara: make sure to curl those lashes and to focus the mascara to the tips as opposed to the roots, this helps the lashes stay curled longer :) you can also add falsies if you want but i recommend going with a lighter and wispier set!
Contour and Highlight: contour your cheekbones to be a little higher and more rounded than your actual cheekbones, starting at the temple and ending about mid-cheek. start your nose contour at your brows and go all the way down. i also like to add a little contour under my bottom lip to give the illusion of a shadow.
Blush, Freckles, and Highlight: go heavy on the blush for this look but focus on under the eye/upper cheekbone and the nose. there are many ways to recreate freckles but one of my favorites is lime crime’s freckle pen! make sure to space them out and make them random, making freckles too uniform is a dead giveaway that they are fake. use a white highlight on the tip of your nose, down your nose bridge, and in the corners of your eyes.
Lips: use a matte peachy lipgloss or lipstick and apply it to your inner lips. then you can blend it outwards to give a more natural and gradient effect. feel free to apply gloss over when you’re finished!
