gothic grunge makeup tutorial

here’s some tips for each slide :)

foundation & powder: both aren’t mandatory but foundation is going to give you an even base and powder is going to help with oily or sweaty skin.

concealer: use on blemishes and under eyes but also as a base for eyeshadow!

eyeshadow: create a subtle smokey look with a light grey eyeshadow and then blend some white into the inner lid.

eyeliner: liquid eyeliner works best because we want it to be sharp and bold! make sure to add some to the inner corner of your eyes as well for that siren eye look.

lashes & brows: definitely recommend falsies for this look to give you more of a bold eye. make sure to fill in those brows and make them sharp!

contour & highlight: when contouring your cheekbones, start at your temple and curve it down to the corner of your lips. make sure to contour your nose too. add highlight around contour to accentuate the shadows you’re creating.

blush & freckles: use you blush as a second contour! for the freckles, you can use a brow pencil, freckle pen, or brown eyeshadow to create these. make sure to blend them well tho!

highlight & beauty marks: use a white shimmer for the highlight and a black eyeliner (pencil or liquid) to put a couple beauty marks where you want.

lips: partially over-line the lips with a deep berry red lip liner and then fill it in with a matte liquid lipstick in the same shade (regular matte lipstick works too!)
