The moment it felt like it was asking, "HOW ABOUT A SONG?" had me both laughing and totally creeped out. Banshees in Phasmophobia are truly one of the most distinctive ghosts you'll encounter, and they always keep you on your toes. What makes a Banshee so unique? For starters, they often target one specific player throughout the hunt, making it a truly personal horror experience! While other ghosts might randomly pick someone, a Banshee has its sights set on one unfortunate soul. If you're the target, you'll hear a very distinct scream through the parabolic microphone, which is a major clue. Their evidence usually includes Fingerprints, a Ghost Orb, and D.O.T.S. Projector, so keep an eye out for those while trying to stay alive! Surviving a Banshee hunt requires strategy. If you realize you're the target, your priority shifts from finding evidence to staying out of harm's way. Using crucifixes effectively is key; place them strategically to block potential hunt paths. Hiding spots become your best friend, and communication with your team is crucial. If the ghost is targeting you, your teammates might have a bit more freedom to gather evidence or find the cursed object without immediately triggering a hunt. Speaking of cursed objects, they are game-changers in Phasmophobia, for better or worse! There are several, each with its own risks and rewards. For example, the Ouija Board can tell you the ghost's location or even its favorite room, but every question drains your sanity significantly and can trigger a hunt. Tarot Cards offer random events, some helpful, some deadly. The Music Box, like the one that might have inspired my Banshee's 'song' request, can lure the ghost to it, making it easier to photograph but also incredibly dangerous due to rapid sanity drain and early hunts. The Mirror can show you the ghost's location but also drains your sanity fast, and the Summoning Circle, while powerful for a photo op, is a one-time use that starts a cursed hunt. Using cursed objects effectively is a balance of risk and reward. It's often best to use them early in the investigation when everyone's sanity is high, or when you're desperate for a final piece of evidence. Always have an escape plan or a crucifix ready! They can be invaluable for pinpointing the ghost room or completing objectives, but never underestimate their ability to turn a calm investigation into a chaotic sprint for the exit.
