Have had a Yurei recently that stayed in the same room for an hour.😩 #tiktoklive #phasmaphobiagame #phasmo #phas #phasmophobia
Okay, so you think you've had a stubborn ghost? Let me tell you about my recent Phasmophobia nightmare! I was playing on Tanglewood, and our suspected Yurei just... wouldn't... move. Seriously, it stayed in the living room for what felt like an eternity, constantly interacting with things right there. My sanity was draining like crazy, and I started second-guessing everything. Was it really a Yurei, or was I missing something crucial? This kind of behavior can be super confusing, especially when you're dealing with ghosts that seem to stick to one spot. The OCR mentioned Goryos, and that's a perfect example. Goryos are notorious for not leaving their ghost room, especially if you're within line of sight. If a ghost hasn't changed rooms for a long time, and you're getting absolutely no evidence, it might make you think Goryo, as the OCR text pointed out: 'STILL HASN'T CHANGED A ROOM, THEN IT'S PROBABLY GORYO.' However, Yureis can also be exceptionally clingy to their space, especially if it's a large area with lots of interactions. So, how do you tell the difference when they're both being homebodies? For a Yurei, look for its unique ability: draining a significant chunk of your sanity if it closes a door completely. If you're seeing rapid sanity drops without many ghost events, that's a huge Yurei clue. Their evidence is Freezing Temperatures, Ghost Orbs, and D.O.T.S Projector. If you deploy a D.O.T.S projector and you see a shadow figure walk through it, but only when you're not in the room, that's a Goryo! Goryos will never show on D.O.T.S if you're in the same room as them, which is a fantastic way to differentiate them from other D.O.T.S ghosts like a Yurei. Sometimes, you end up in a 'NO EVIDENCE' situation, as the OCR mentioned. This is where observing specific ghost behavior becomes your best friend. For a Yurei, beyond the door ability and sanity drain, they are often described as being quieter or less active than some other ghosts, but they can have frequent ghost events within their room. Remember to use all your tools: the EMF Reader for interactions, the Thermometer for freezing temps, and the Spirit Box. Here are some quick tips I've learned from my own gameplay: Observe Closely: Does it keep slamming doors shut completely? Yurei sign! Sanity Check: Is your sanity plummeting faster than usual, even without hunts? Consider Yurei. D.O.T.S Placement: If you suspect Goryo due to its room-bound nature, place the D.O.T.S and observe from a distance. If you see it, but not when you're close, it's a Goryo. If you see it up close, it could still be a Yurei or other D.O.T.S ghost. Teamwork: As the OCR stated, 'If you're in a team, communication is key.' Share what you're seeing and hearing. Stay Calm: When things get hairy, 'hide quickly and calmly.' It's better to reset and re-strategize than to get caught. Mastering ghost identification in Phasmophobia, especially for tricky ones like the Yurei or Goryo, comes down to careful observation and understanding their unique quirks. Don't let a stubborn ghost fool you!
