She did like 5 tantrums and then I made a pile and she rejected it for like 30 minutes and I just left. #phasmophobia #phasmo #phasmophobiaclips #phas #phasmophobiagame
Hey fellow ghost hunters! Ever had one of those Phasmophobia hunts where the ghost is just causing an absolute ruckus, throwing everything but the kitchen sink, and youāre still scratching your head trying to figure out what it is? Trust me, Iāve been there! I remember one particularly stubborn ghost that threw so many tantrums, I swear it made a whole pile of objects just to spite me. It refused to cooperate with my journal for what felt like forever! But after countless chilling encounters, Iāve finally nailed down my go-to strategy for spotting a Poltergeist. The biggest giveaway for a Poltergeist, even before you get solid evidence, is their sheer knack for messing with objects. If you walk into a room and it looks like a tiny, angry tornado just passed through ā books scattered, plates broken, and crucifixes hurled across the floor ā youāre likely dealing with a Poltergeist. They are masters of object interaction, often throwing multiple items at once, which is a unique ability among ghosts. Paying attention to these 'tantrums' and the resulting 'pile' of thrown items is your first visual clue! Now, for the concrete evidence you need to mark in your journal. Poltergeists consistently provide three key pieces of evidence: EMF Level 5, DOTS Projector, and Spirit Box. EMF Level 5: This is often one of the quickest pieces of evidence to find for a Poltergeist. Equip your EMF Reader and sweep the ghost room, especially near where objects are being thrown or where the ghost is active. If your reader spikes to Level 5, that's a solid confirmation. This high electromagnetic flux is a classic Poltergeist sign, and youāll usually see it light up brightly when theyāre interacting or performing their throwing ability. DOTS Projector: This is another crucial tool. Place your DOTS Projector in the ghost room, aiming it so its green lasers cover a significant area. Then, retreat to a safe distance (the truck cameras are perfect for this!) and watch. If you see a ghostly silhouette quickly pass through the laser grid, that's your DOTS evidence. Poltergeists, like several other ghosts, will reveal themselves through DOTS, giving you that distinct visual confirmation. Spirit Box: Poltergeists are also known to interact with the Spirit Box. To get this, ensure the lights in the ghost room are off and you're within range. Ask clear questions like "Are you here?" or "Where are you?" Listen carefully for a whisper or a distinct word in response. Sometimes it takes patience, but getting a Spirit Box response confirms you're dealing with one of the talkative types. It's also helpful to know what not to look for. For example, while my OCR notes mentioned general evidence types like Ultraviolet (for fingerprints), Poltergeists typically do not leave fingerprints. So if youāre finding UV prints, you can probably rule out a Poltergeist and start thinking about ghosts like a Phantom. Similarly, freezing temperatures or ghost orbs are not part of a Poltergeist's evidence set. My personal strategy is to first watch for the throwing behavior. If itās intense, I immediately set up EMF and DOTS. If I get an EMF 5 and see DOTS, I then focus on the Spirit Box. This combination usually pinpoints the Poltergeist quickly, letting me complete objectives and get out before things get too scary. Happy hunting, and may your evidence always lead you to the right ghost!
