8d7n trip w/o breaking the bank 💰

helloooo~ this is a super long overdue post that i totally forgot about 😭 but anyway… here’s how i spent less than $1200 in total for an 8D7N trip to HK!! 🤯

here are some things that helped us save:

1) flight tickets ✈️

we managed to cop SQ return tickets at $307.60 which i thought was SUCH a good deal 😆 i was using cheapflights initially but surprisingly the prices there were around the same / even pricier (scoot return tickets were $450/500) 😳

2) hotel 🏨

we stayed at Mini Hotel Causeway Bay — location was super convenient (especially since it was rainy season ☔️) the room was clean but tiny… barely space for luggage and we couldn’t even close the toilet door properly HAHAHA had to sit sideways 💀 towels were the disposable kind too 😅

but overall still okay for students trying to save money!

3) activities 🎢

we booked everything on Klook and the deals were so good then!! we got Ocean Park tickets for $117.25 for 2 pax (32% off) 🤯 and when we went, the park was EMPTY — almost no queues so we could re-ride everything 😋 also got to see the zoo + aquarium, super worth ❤️

4) transport 🚌

we just took public transport the whole trip and it was really convenient! even on the last day at 6am we took the airport bus straight to the terminal for $5.53 — definitely helped us save a lot hehe

okay that’s alllll! i included my full spending spreadsheet at the end 🫶🏼 yayy finally posting this after procrastinating for so long 😛
