I’m Trisha, owner and designer of Twisted Emerald Wreath. I’m engaged to a pretty great guy and I have 4 kids and 2 dogs. I’m a stay at home mom - who also works part time in our local elementary school in the 3-year old preschool classroom. But I also needed a hobby and a wreath on my front door, which is where wreath making came in.
I started making wreaths a few of years ago for myself and as gifts. I only made a few before life happened, but it was something I enjoyed doing. I eventually moved back home to help take care of my dad and grandpa.
My grandpa passed November 2022 and my dad passed in January 2023. I then had my youngest son in March of 2023. I have two girls and two boys ranging from 11 years to almost 2 years old.
On a whim, I decided to start making wreaths again because I, of course, wanted one for my own door. Turned out there were others interested and now we have a growing business. This last year has been a whirlwind and I couldn’t be more thankful.
I absolutely love making wreaths! Over the last year, I have perfected my bows and have started to incorporate wreath attachments and lollipops. I’m now also making swags, garlands, centerpieces and floral grapevine wreaths.
I’m a perfectionist at heart and I strive to make each piece as perfect as I possibly can before they go to their new forever doors!
