$400 one way non-budget airline to Aussie 😍

✨ 3rd time on Turkish Airlines

I first brought my dad on this airlines last year when we went Melbs and was pleasantly surprised at how new the plane was and most importantly, on time ✈️

On the Mel-Sin route, a full meal was served as well as a snack before landing. After my flight last year, it was a no-brainer to book it again when I flew to Melbs on my one-way flight here this year. Again, at SGD400 😨😬

With 30kg check-in luggage, meals, entertainment, and excellent service, Turkish Airlines wins hands down when it comes to affordable flights to and fro aussie and singapore.

🙌🏻 I was contemplating between Scoot and TK on my flight back to SG this time, since their timings are the same, 2130hrs (aust time), and Scoot was actually more expensive at SGD 590 (with luggage, no meals).

Ok granted that this is a last minute booking, and you might get Scoot at a cheaper price in end September, but I’m choosing TK!

... Read moreFrom my experience flying Turkish Airlines on the Melbourne to Singapore route, it truly stands out as an exceptional option for travelers seeking value without sacrificing comfort. Unlike many budget airlines, Turkish Airlines provides full meals that genuinely taste good, along with snacks served before landing. This makes the 8-hour journey much more enjoyable and satisfying. What impressed me most was the inclusion of 30kg checked baggage, entertainment systems, blankets, pillows, and headphone options — amenities that budget airlines often exclude. The plane itself felt relatively new and well-maintained, creating a cozy atmosphere that made the long flight feel relaxed and comfortable. The customer service was excellent, with attentive cabin crew who ensured passengers’ needs were met throughout the journey. Having traveled on multiple budget airlines offering less for a higher price, Turkish Airlines offers great cost-to-service value, especially considering last-minute fares can still be around SGD400 one-way. If you’re debating between budget carriers like Scoot and full-service airlines, it’s worth checking Turkish Airlines’ fares. Even though Scoot sometimes has cheaper rates, the lack of meals, entertainment, and baggage inclusions can add up, making TK a smarter and more comfortable choice. Additionally, if you’re concerned about COVID-19 travel requirements, Turkish Airlines keeps passengers informed and complies with international testing mandates, ensuring a safe journey. Overall, based on my personal travel experience, Turkish Airlines delivers a reliable, enjoyable flying experience from Melbourne to Singapore at a very competitive price point. It’s a great example of how you don’t have to compromise on comfort and service when booking one-way air travel.
