Sitting at the alley for coffee?!

Only in Melbourne - the city that takes coffee seriously and I tell you, it’s real business here at Patricia Coffee Brewers 😬 Maybe it’s to overcome the midday slump, but many seem to be catching up with friends over the cup too.

❗️I didn’t believe it when reviews market this place as ‘best known for its flat white’ (AUD6.2) because it is more common for cafes to stand out via speciality coffees. But when I had my first sip, a burst of sweet aftertaste? Unbelievable! Let’s try another sip. Oh yeah it’s there. Is it the cup? Can’t be, it’s really the unassuming ‘chocolate’ note beans they recommended.

Felly will miss having access to so many good coffee runs when she leaves Melbs 🥲. Till then, let’s go for more #coffeetime

💰 Price: Black and Filter both AUD5.8

🤔 Would go again? DEFINITELY 💯 and to buy their beans!

... Read moreMelbourne’s coffee culture is something truly special, especially when you find spots like Patricia Coffee Brewers that embody the city’s passion for quality brews. Sitting in an alley, surrounded by the low hum of friendly chatter and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, creates an authentic and intimate coffee experience that’s hard to replicate elsewhere. What makes Patricia Coffee Brewers stand out is not just its excellent flat white but also how it masterfully balances tradition with innovation. Their coffee beans, known for a subtle chocolate note, deliver a burst of sweetness that surprises you with every sip. This subtle flavor complexity shows the roastery's deep understanding of bean selection and roasting techniques. Besides the taste, the shop’s small but efficient space with outdoor sitting areas adds to its charm. It’s a perfect spot to either energize during a midday slump or catch up with friends over a shared love for great coffee. The atmosphere is casual yet vibrant thanks to the friendly and efficient service that keeps the coffee flowing smoothly. Another great thing about the place is the price point. At AUD5.8 for black and filter coffee, it’s an affordable indulgence considering the quality you receive. Many coffee enthusiasts find themselves coming back, not only for their daily cups but also to purchase the signature beans and savor the experience at home. From a personal perspective, discovering this place felt like finding a hidden gem. The simple joy of sitting in an alley, with a perfectly crafted flat white that has a flash of chocolate sweetness, became a refreshing pause in a hectic day. It reminds me how good coffee isn’t just about taste; it’s also about the community and moments shared around it. For newcomers to Melbourne or anyone who appreciates coffee culture, Patricia Coffee Brewers is definitely worth a visit. Their dedication to quality and unique flavors embodies what makes Melbourne a top coffee city globally. If you’re keen to experience genuine local coffee culture, I recommend trying their flat white and maybe grabbing some beans to enjoy at your leisure. It’s more than just coffee; it’s a way to connect with the city’s vibrant spirit and craftmanship.
