JB coffee roasters- be spoilt for choice 😍

Having returned from the land of coffee (Melbourne), I thought it would take me damn long to find a good coffee roaster with plenty of options. Cofa Coffee Roaster | Coffee Bean Supplier | Johor | Johor Bahru was the first roaster that we visited in #johor and woahhh 👍🏻 will be back to try their wide range of beans!

The store place is aesthetically pleasing (plus points) but ✨the best part✨ is that there is a in-house barista who will guide you through a personalised tasting experience.

💰 Price wise, not too much cheaper than SG’s prices, but for the range it carries, this place is a must-visit for fellow #coffeelovers 🌟 last pic for price list!

It’s not a cafe btw- so you can’t sit and chill over a cuppa, but there’s another cafe just a level below. (It also sells roasted beans, at cheaper prices, but we’ve not tried it)

... Read moreVisiting COFA Coffee Roaster was more than just picking up coffee beans—it was an experience that deepened my appreciation for the craft behind each cup. The in-house barista took time to explain the unique flavor profiles of each specialty bean, such as the Yunnan Cartimo with floral and tangerine notes and the Sumatra Gayo, known for its rich, chocolate undertones. This personalized approach really helped me understand how roast level and bean origin influence taste. For anyone new to home brewing or looking to expand their palate, COFA offers starter drip bag trials and packs that are affordable options to explore different beans without committing to large quantities. Price-wise, the beans are comparable to Singapore, but the variety and expertise available make it worthwhile. Though COFA isn’t a cafe where you can linger, just downstairs there’s a cozy cafe selling roasted beans at cheaper prices, which could be a good spot to enjoy a fresh brew. Returning coffee lovers will appreciate how COFA combines quality, guidance, and variety, fitting both casual drinkers and serious aficionados alike. If you're on a coffee journey in Johor Bahru, definitely add COFA to your list — it spoils you with choices and delivers a tasting experience that's both educational and inspiring.
