Recently, I started hunting down good coffee spots for a quick coffee-run on my wfh days. And by ‘quick’, I really mean, a less than 10 minutes drive away from home.
So if you’re in the Clementi area, and looking for a perk-me-up either before your next meeting, or just chilling away on a Saturday, then do consider Poonsti for good coffee, from Old Hen Coffee.
Opens till 4pm on weekdays, 3.30pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
‼️ but I’m just recommending the coffee. their food menu only has mainly rosti, and they took more than 20 minutes to serve. This was during term break; so I wouldn’t eat here on a working day.
☁️ vibes check: hmm can get too noisy when everyone is talking, but the seating area is not cramped.
For takeaway coffee- definitely a YES

Although their food menu mainly features rosti and service takes a while during busy periods like term breaks, I’ve discovered that sticking to takeaway coffee here is best if you’re pressed for time. The environment inside can get a bit noisy when crowded, but the seating is comfortable enough if you want to enjoy your cup slowly. For casual weekend chill-outs or quick morning pick-me-ups before important calls, it fits the bill nicely.
