WHAT TO DO AT CAFE APARTMENT?

HCM is such a popular city to go now!

but is the cafe apartment really worth to visit?

my view on this is…NOT WORTH 🥲🥲

not much things to do here and climbing all the way up for nothing is not fun😔

however we do chance upon this shop called the E.Y.E that sells a diff design of tote bags (ins worthy spot)

can check out PO cafe when you are tired of walking

even though they don’t have wide menu choices the food there is pretty decent (but please don’t come all the way here to eat…not worth)

From my experience, the main draw is the nostalgic vibe of the building and the small independent shops and cafes sprinkled throughout the floors. One of the standout places I found was the E.Y.E store, which offers uniquely designed tote bags—definitely a great spot for those interested in artistic souvenirs or quirky accessories. Although the building's steep stairs can be tiring to climb, these special shops make the trip a bit more rewarding. When you need a break, PO Cafe on the 8th floor offers a cozy spot to relax. The menu isn’t extensive, but the coffee and light bites they serve are decent and help recharge your energy after exploring. I wouldn’t recommend coming here solely for dining, but it’s a comfy pause during your visit. Many visitors come hoping for a vibrant cafe-hopping experience, but the apartment is more about the ambiance and unique finds rather than wide variety or lively activities. For a more fulfilling time, plan on browsing the small boutiques and grab a coffee when you’re ready to rest. This approach helped me enjoy the visit more despite the limited offerings. Overall, the Cafe Apartment encapsulates a niche cultural experience—it’s less a bustling cafe hub and more an artistic, quaint destination. If you enjoy places with character and hidden gems like E.Y.E or prefer low-key cafe atmospheres such as PO Cafe, it might be worth checking out. Just be prepared for the climb and manage expectations about the food and entertainment options.
