Stop wasting money on these things

1. Coffee is my kryptonite, it’s a must have every morning even at night sometimes. I have to ween off this addiction.

2. Unless I absolutely need it or can’t fit it, I will not buy any more clothes for their first quarter.

3. Unless my makeup is completely empty, I’m not replacing or buying more makeup.

4. Plastic water bottles are just proven to cause harm so alternatively I choose glass water bottles. Typical spring water.

5. I usually buy a big lunch to have for later but I’m never really satisfied with my options and spend way too much, so I will meal prep every Sunday to avoid buying lunch.

6.I believe you should show self love by taking yourself out to fine dining.

7. No more high fructose corn syrup

8. I over indulge in this way too much. Wait until bottle is empty.

I shared a few of my NO BUYS. What are some no buys that you would like to add and why? #nobuy2025 #lemon8 #budgeting

One key area to focus on is beverages. Moving away from plastic water bottles is not only a sustainable practice but also promotes better health; replacing them with glass options minimizes exposure to harmful chemicals. Moreover, if you're a habitual coffee drinker, consider limiting your intake or switching to homemade alternatives to cut costs while savoring the same quality. Another aspect is clothing consumption; the temptation to continually update your wardrobe can lead to unnecessary spending. Opt for a 'no-buy' period to assess what you really need. A fashion detox can help you appreciate the items you already own, thus promoting self-expression without continual expenditure. Meal prep is a valuable habit that greatly reduces the temptation to buy expensive lunches. Preparing meals for the week ahead not only saves money but allows for healthier eating choices, steering clear of processed foods. Additionally, dining out should be treated as a luxury rather than a routine; it's okay to treat yourself occasionally, but moderation will enhance the experience. Limiting or eliminating high fructose corn syrup and processed snacks is vital for both health and budget. Thesechanges are not merely about frugality; they support a holistic lifestyle that values health and mindfulness. By sharing these insights, we can foster a community that embraces smarter spending and healthier choices.
