In my Rest Era
In this time of my life it’s important for me to maintain balance. When I’m off kilter reach for things, people and places that will make me feel balanced. The world doesn’t have to be a bad place even when bad things are happening around you. Trust in God and Yourself.
In today's fast-paced world, many individuals, particularly women of color, are prioritizing rest and self-care. Rest is not merely about physical recuperation; it is essential for mental and emotional well-being. Incorporating practices like mindfulness, meditation, and yoga can help create a sanctuary of peace in your daily life. Recognizing when you are off balance is the first step towards reclaiming your sense of self. Engage in activities that re-energize your spirit, whether they involve spending time with loved ones, exploring nature, or dedicating moments to reflect on your aspirations. Surround yourself with a supportive community, as the positive energy from others can significantly influence your mindset. Remember, it's okay to ask for help when you need it. Building a network of like-minded individuals can provide encouragement and strength to navigate through life's challenges. Ultimately, embracing your Rest Era is about prioritizing your happiness and well-being while fostering resilience. Trust in your ability to regain balance amidst the chaos of life.
