How is God calling you to grow?

Some of the most painful moments weren’t punishments—they were planting seasons.

I didn’t see it at the time.

I only felt the weight, the confusion, and the “why me?”

But God doesn’t waste a dark season.

He uses pressure to build strength.

He uses storms to deepen roots.

He uses heartbreak to produce something holy.

Growth isn’t always gentle.

Sometimes it’s uncomfortable.

Sometimes it feels like everything is falling apart while God is actually putting you together.

There is beauty in the version of you that survived.

There is beauty in the wisdom you didn’t have before.

There is beauty in the faith that wouldn’t exist without the fire.

Flowers don’t bloom without seasons.

Diamonds don’t form without pressure.

Oil doesn’t flow without crushing.

Your hardest season might just be the soil where God makes you flourish.

And when it’s over—you won’t just be different.

You’ll be beautifully grown.

... Read moreLife often throws unexpected curveballs, making us cry out, 'God help me!' I've been there, feeling the weight of confusion and asking, 'why me?' It’s in those moments, when sometimes life is hard, that we often feel most vulnerable. But I've come to understand that these painful experiences aren't punishments; they are, as I often reflect, 'planting seasons' where God prepares us for something extraordinary. One of the hardest lessons I've learned is trusting God's plan when He 'removes someone from your life' or when familiar situations suddenly 'end to begin again.' It’s incredibly painful to say goodbye, whether to a relationship, a job, or even a season of life. I remember a period filled with heartbreak, where I felt everything was falling apart. Yet, looking back, I can clearly see how that very 'season I wanted to skip became the soil God used to grow me.' It was through that deep sorrow that I started to truly seek a closer connection, yearning for 'closeness to God.' During these challenging times, it's easy to feel like you lack everything, but I've found immense comfort in holding onto the truth that 'you lack nothing' in God's eyes. Learning to internalize 'feeling loved by God' and the profound truth that 'God is within me' transforms your perspective. It’s a journey of affirming, 'I am who God says I am,' regardless of my circumstances. For me, this involved actively practicing what the Bible means when it says to 'let go.' A verse that became my anchor is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” This helped me release control and trust His sovereign hand. Even amidst the storms, I've found it crucial to intentionally remember 'protection thank you Lord for protecting us.' It’s a conscious act of gratitude, acknowledging His unseen hand guiding and shielding me, even when I don't fully understand. There's a strength that comes from declaring God's truth, much like in Job 22:28, which states, 'You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.' This reminds me that my words of faith have power. Through these declarations, I pray, 'Lord keep me different,' not allowing the world's pain to define my spirit, but rather letting it refine my faith. It’s during these trials that 'god is good and worthy to be praised' becomes more than just words; it becomes a deep conviction. The process of growth isn't always gentle; it's uncomfortable, like a diamond forming under immense pressure. But the beauty that emerges from the fire is incomparable. As some 'motivational godly quotes' often say, 'The greater the struggle, the more glorious the triumph.' So, if you're navigating your hardest season right now, remember that it might just be the very soil where God makes you flourish, transforming you into someone beautifully grown, full of wisdom and unwavering faith.
