Two of my favorite gundam kits
When it comes to building Gunpla, everyone has their own definition of the 'coolest' Gundam model kits, right? A kit might look great standing still, but if you can’t get it into those epic action shots – like aiming a bazooka or swinging a beam saber – it loses some of its charm. Look for kits with good joint movement in the shoulders, knees, and ankles, allowing for a wide range of motion. This is key for creating those cool, battle-ready vignettes. Awesome Weaponry & Accessories: As seen with my kits, a powerful bazooka or a glowing beam saber can transform a static model into a compelling scene. Shields, rifles, and even effect parts add so much value and storytelling potential. These extra bits really help bring a kit to life. Build Experience: Sometimes, the joy of putting together a complex or satisfying kit makes it cool in itself. A well-engineered kit that snaps together smoothly and feels sturdy in hand is always a winner. If you're looking to make your own models look even cooler, don't underestimate the power of a good pose. Experiment with different angles, balance, and how the weapons integrate with the body.
