Things I struggle with as a 19 almost 20 year old Christian

1. Walking by faith and not by sight!

* this one is hard for me to learn because I am a very anxious person who almost needs to find a solution or I get real nervous and depressed

2. Trusting God won’t leave me even when I push him away

* I have a very avoidant attachment with everyone in my life because even from a young age abandonment was always very strong in my life( if that makes sense) so trusting that he won’t leave me when it gets tough is hard for my mind to understand

3. Idolizing things I shouldn’t

* I didn’t realize until recently that I idolize a lot of things such as Tv I have to have some background noise to play so I can go to sleep or my phone in which I spend 7 hours a day on when I could be doing something with God

4. I fit out because I follow God

* it was always a goal that I had to know everyone and become popular somewhere but God sets aside his people from the crowd so all of those dreams are gone and sometimes I much rather be alone

5. Church hurt doesn’t mean God hurt

* I stopped believing in God for so long because the church I grew up in had a lot of mean girls their and I always felt like they were talking about me because that’s all they did

But now God is taking me through all these struggles one day at a time 🩵🩵
