Work From HomeMom of 5
#shifts #lemon8challenge Waking up and getting to work from home is SUCH a blessing. Be able to homeschool and spend more time with my kids while they're young is SUCH a blessing. I wakeup daily and acknowledge what I'm grateful for and then take a few of my kiddos to school. I come home and get to work with my several sources of income. My main source is TikTok and My clothing brand Inked Vanity Clothing (International and Published Brand btw) and I work mainly from my phone and computer! I LOVE my office space and creating a cozy atmosphere before starting my morning shift. I always have my venti iced Americano from #STARBUCKS and a candle or two lit...as well as my string lighting for extra cozy vibes!
What does your office space look like? Are you happy with it? What could you do to make it MORE vibey to make your work days BETTER?
Drop a comment and let me know. Maybe I'll have ideas for you 🥰/Tallahassee
Balancing the dynamic life of a work-from-home mom with five children at home requires dedication and a well-thought-out environment. Creating a cozy and inspiring workspace can significantly improve your daily productivity and mental well-being. Incorporating elements such as ambient lighting—like string lights—and lighting candles can help establish a calming atmosphere that prepares you mentally for your workday. Many moms find that starting the day with a moment of gratitude and a small ritual, such as enjoying a venti iced Americano from Starbucks, can set a positive tone for the hours ahead. Working primarily from devices like phones and computers allows for the flexibility to manage homeschooling while nurturing creative business ventures—like growing a clothing brand or leveraging social media platforms such as TikTok for income generation. A dedicated office space doesn’t necessarily have to be large; it just needs to be functional and inviting. Adding personal touches like favorite scents, cozy decor, and organized workstations can transform any corner into a productive hub. Reflecting on your current setup can reveal simple changes—adjust lighting, add plants, or rearrange furniture—that make your work environment more vibey, boosting motivation and happiness. Engaging with other parents or remote workers through online communities can offer fresh ideas to improve your workspace and maintain balance between work and parenting. Remember, the essence of working from home successfully is about creating harmony between your professional goals and family life while fostering an environment where creativity and productivity thrive.
