Happy 10 Year Anniversary To My Soulmate
My husband and I celebrated 10 years on April 14th 2026 and I couldn't be more mind blown and grateful. From the moment I pulled up on my pink moped to his home, I knew that this was my forever. I knew that everything else in life didn't matter. I knew that he was the one that I would spend the very rest of my life with. I'm so grateful to be able to say that 10 years later we now have five kids and we have spent an entire year traveling across America and adventuring as much as possible with the kids. Life is truly what you make of it. No life is without flaw or setbacks. We all struggle and we all fall short. It's all about getting back up, giving it to God and putting God at the forefront of every single thing in your life. I'm grateful to say that my entire family of seven has a relationship with Christ and is growing as a household towards Christ Daily.
Our youngest said that he wants to get baptized which he would be the first of the five kids to get baptized and it was the cutest thing ever because he told me that I could just baptize him in our tub because he wanted to be baptized so bad.
So we are going to be planning that soon.
I look back at these photos of my husband and I and how much we've both changed so much over the years and supported in loved one another through those changes. Life and love are about resilience. Stay focused on God and he will take care of your marriage.
Reflecting on a decade of marriage, I can truly relate to the deep gratitude and joy that come with building a life grounded in faith and shared experiences. Just like Terr_Elane's story about traveling across America with five kids, many couples find that adventure and quality time together are essential in keeping their bond strong. In our own family, we've discovered that family trips—even simple ones—create lasting memories and reinforce values that unite us. It's inspiring to hear about the youngest child's eagerness to be baptized at home, which highlights how faith can grow organically within the family environment. Incorporating spiritual milestones like baptism into family life can deepen children’s understanding of faith and foster a supportive atmosphere where faith is practiced daily. Life’s challenges can test any marriage, but as Terr_Elane emphasizes, focusing on God and resilience is key. Couples who prioritize faith often find strength in prayer, shared beliefs, and mutual support, which helps them overcome setbacks while growing closer. This perspective transforms difficulties into opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. Looking back over ten years, it’s natural for partners to change and grow individually, yet the continuous support and love through those changes define a resilient marriage. Celebrations like a 10-year anniversary are excellent moments to reflect on that journey and the foundational role that spirituality and family adventures play. For anyone navigating the ups and downs of marriage and parenting, this story is a beautiful reminder that combining faith with action—whether through travel, shared experiences, or religious milestones—can cultivate a meaningful, lasting relationship and a strong, loving family unit.
