Weekend Outfits
#fashionfinds #lemon8challenge I love wearing different combinations of sports bras and workout shorts. I love going out on nature trails as often as possible and that means that I most likely going to be sweating and exposed to a lot of sun. Today. we went out on a hike and I am so grateful that I wore my baseball cap with my outfit because it ended up protecting my face from the pouring down rain that we got stuck in halfway through our 1.6 mile hike 🙂 I am absolutely not complaining though because it was extremely refreshing. It was almost 90° prior to the rain.
I'm also grateful that I chose to wear my fanny pack and instead of wearing it around my waist, I typically like to wear it as like a chest bag. Because I wore this, I ended up being able to protect my phone from the rain. I always love wearing fanny packs because I can hook my carabiner of keys around the fanny pack to easily grab and then I can keep my phone and cards inside of it while I'm out on hikes without having to carry a purse or a whole backpack.
So if you're looking for comfort and convenience, look no further than a baseball cap, a really cute fanny pack or a variety of fanny packs to match different outfits and a bunch of different sports bras or tank tops to match with a bunch of gym shorts. I'm always in flip flops as well. If I'm not in flip flops, I'm in church shoes or and a pair of Vans.
I feel like I'm pretty much dressed for any chill occasion and any outdoor activity when I dress this way.
When it comes to weekend outfits, I’ve found that balancing comfort and style is key, especially if you’re planning to spend time outdoors like on nature trails or hikes. Sports bras and workout shorts are my go-to because they offer breathability and freedom of movement. Pairing these with a lightweight tank top also helps regulate body temperature during intense activity or hot days. One thing I never leave behind on my outdoor excursions is a good baseball cap. Beyond adding an athleisure vibe to my outfit, it provides essential sun protection for my face and eyes. It’s saved me countless times from harsh UV rays and surprisingly, from unexpected rain showers too. During a recent hike, the cap shielded my face from a sudden downpour, making me feel refreshed instead of soaked and uncomfortable. Another essential accessory I highly recommend is a fanny pack. But not just any fanny pack—I like to wear mine as a chest bag. This style not only keeps my belongings securely close but also protects my phone and valuables from the elements, especially when the weather takes an unplanned turn. The ability to attach my keys with a carabiner adds to the convenience, freeing my hands and avoiding the bulk of carrying a purse or backpack. In terms of footwear, flip flops offer relaxed comfort and ease for casual weekends. However, if the occasion demands, switching to Vans or church shoes adds a touch of versatility to the outfit, making it suitable for both laid-back and slightly dressier environments. Overall, assembling weekend outfits around these key pieces—sports bras, workout shorts, baseball caps, and fanny packs—has made my outdoor activities more enjoyable and hassle-free. Whether you’re hiking, running errands, or meeting friends, these items combine function and fashion effortlessly. Plus, experimenting with different colorful fanny packs or tops can keep the look fresh and exciting without sacrificing practicality.
