And for those who love marine life, keep an eye out for local art depicting colorful coral formations and various fish, reflecting the island's rich underwater world – it's a beautiful representation of what lies beneath the turquoise waves. One of the absolute highlights for me was simply observing the everyday 'Caribbean life.' Whether it was seeing local boats along the shore, or the relaxed pace of people going about their day, it really made me appreciate the unique rhythm of island living. Even if you're just there for a day as part of a cruise, you can still get a wonderful taste of what Jamaica has to offer.
