私が「おたよりBOX」を作ってみて感じたのは、“片付けグッズ”というより「子どもが続けられる仕組み」だということです。特に、チーズの箱やお菓子の箱みたいな“ちょうどいいサイズの空き箱工作”は、子どもの手に収まりやすくて成功しやすいなと思いました。 ■おすすめの箱（チーズの箱／お菓子の箱） ・チーズの箱：硬めでつぶれにくいので、投函しても型崩れしにくい ・お菓子の箱：家にある率が高く、気軽に「今日作ろう！」ができる ・靴箱：兄弟がいる場合や、A4が多い家庭に向く（少し大きめ） ■作りやすくするコツ（空き箱＋クリアファイル） 私のおすすめは、箱の中にクリアファイル（または透明の下敷きでもOK）を入れて“仕切り”にする方法です。紙がぐちゃっとしにくく、子どもが「入れる場所」を見つけやすくなります。 ・「提出」「保管」「あとで読む」など、まずは2〜3分類がちょうどいい ・仕切りに貼るシールは、文字より“マーク”が分かりやすい（星＝提出、ハート＝保管など） ■子どもが続くシールの貼り方 続ける鍵は、親がきれいに作り込むことより「子ども自身が好きなシールを選んで貼る」ことでした。ここが“自分の箱”になる瞬間で、所有感が出て行動につながりやすいです。 ・子どもに「どのマークにする？」と選ばせる ・貼る位置も任せる（多少曲がってもOK） ・マスキングテープで縁取りすると、達成感が出て見た目も整う ■ハンドメイド木工っぽく仕上げたい人へ（簡単アレンジ） 木工が得意じゃなくても、木工風の雰囲気は出せます。 ・木目柄のマスキングテープを貼る ・茶色の紙袋を切って貼って「クラフト感」を出す ・100均の水性ニス風シートで“木工小物”っぽく見せる ■置き場所・掛け方の工夫 我が家は、壁に掛けられるようにしてから一気に回りやすくなりました。 ・フック＋ひもでドア横に設置（目につく場所が最強） ・机の上に置くなら「箱のフタを外して投函しやすく」する 最初の1週間は、親が「ここに入れてみようか」と一緒にやるのがおすすめです。小さな「自分でできた！」が積み重なると、プリント管理が親の仕事じゃなくなっていく感覚がありました。空き箱がある日に、ぜひ試してみてください。
