I bought a drill, but I don't do it at all...
At such times, I tend to focus on teaching characters.

✔ Ability to discern sounds (phoneme recognition)
These are the basic powers of reading and writing hiragana.

It is important to enjoy playing.
Letters do not suddenly become readable,
Little by little, it builds up on the power it has grown up in play.
