Content Creator Must Haves📲

-Tripod: as much as you think you can hold your phone still, a tripod will always create much more still and crisp shots. You can find them on amazon for as low as $20!

-Storage Device: Being a content creator requires A LOT of…creating content!!! Your storage can fill up quick on your phone and computer. It is a really good idea to invest in a storage device.

-iPhone Microphone: Having a mic will make a huge difference in your content, especially your voice overs. Just an inexpensive one that is compatible with your iPhone will work!

-Lighting: It is so important to have good lighting in your videos. You don’t want them to look dark, grainy or just really hard to see. Good lighting can make a HUGE difference. Ideally, recording with natural light will be your best bet if you can. Plus…its free!

-iPad (optional): it keeps me SO ORGANIZED and has been amazing to have being a content creator, BUT it is on the pricey side. If you aren’t looking to spend much, I would say a really good planner and excel can also work wonders for organization. Personally, I use ALL of that!!

It ensures stability during shoots, which translates to clearer and more professional-looking videos or photos. You can find decent options starting from $20, making it an affordable investment. Storage devices are another crucial element for content creators. As you produce videos, images, and other media, your devices can fill up quickly, leading to potential loss of content or workflow interruptions. Look for reliable external hard drives or cloud storage solutions to conveniently save and back up your works. Microphones are often overlooked but are essential, especially for those focusing on voiceovers or talking head videos. A good quality microphone can improve audio clarity, making your content more engaging. Inexpensive options that work with an iPhone are readily available. Good lighting cannot be stressed enough. Poor lighting can ruin an excellent video idea. Try to utilize natural light as much as possible, or invest in affordable portable lights to elevate your video quality, ensuring your audience can see everything clearly. Lastly, staying organized is vital for productivity. While an iPad can be handy, a simple paper planner or digital spreadsheets can also do wonders for organization. Managing your content schedule effectively will help streamline your workflow, making you more efficient as a content creator.
